Sweater Fever and Mohair Dreams

Good day everyone!

I just finished another sweater and this time... it’s blue! 🧶 I’ll share more details about the yarn and fit in a bit, but I just had to start by saying: I’m in full sweater fever mode! I seriously can’t stop crocheting sweaters lately. My fingers are threatening to go on strike, but they’ll survive… 😅 I think!

The most exciting part of this week? I got my hands on some beautiful lime green mohair from Lichen & Lace! 💚 I’ve been dreaming of working with this color, and now that I have it, I can’t wait to dive into sweater number three. I'm still debating whether to pair it with a lighter thread to make it more breathable for the summer months ahead.

On top of that, I’ve been writing out the pattern I’ve been adapting. It’s based on The Crochet Crowd V-Neck Vest pattern, but I’ve made some changes to turn it into something more me.

Oh! A little fun fact (or maybe just a chaotic confession): despite making multiple sweaters now, I still forget to count how many hanks of yarn I use. Every. Single. Time. 🤦 Maybe sweater number three will finally be the one where I keep track… no promises though!

And because I clearly don’t have enough going on, I’m also planning to add some new accessories to my shop in the coming weeks, starting with crochet coffee holders ☕️ (those cute little sleeves that save your hands from burning on a hot mug). Practical and adorable. Yes, please!

So yeah… It’s been sweater after sweater over here, and I don’t see the streak slowing down anytime soon. Crochet is my comfort, my rhythm, and right now... my obsession. ✨
